Do I have to be a financial member of ESNZ to enter an ESNZ event PDF Print E-mail

If you are entering a Pre-Training, Training or Pre Novice class, you can chose to pay a day fee $5 each time you ride at an ESNZ event instead of being a full member of ESNZ.

You can become a Non-graded member of ESNZ at a reduced rate $50 for a Senior Training Competitor (Non Graded).

If you do, please use the entry form ESNZ will send to you to enter an event and you will not be required to pay the $5 day fee each time you ride.

ESNZ Membership Details   -   ESNZ Membership Form

Otherwise use this entry form and post it to the secretary who's address will appear on the schedule of the event you enter.

To enter a graded class from Novice and above YES you do. If you have not already become a member of ESNZ details are.

ESNZ Membership Details -   ESNZ Membership Form

There can be special options for International and Casual Riders for some graded classes, so please contact the secretary of the specific event you are entering for details.

Please do not confuse being a local member of Eventing Canterbury Inc. with being a ESNZ member.

Eventing Canterbury Inc "Memberships and Rider Memberships" are a local initiative only.

They apply to "NZCT Twilight Training Series" "NZCT Training Ground Membership" and other clinics or training days that you will find available from time to time and advertised on our web site.

Question: If I don't want to ride that day can someone else ride my horse for me.

Answer: ONLY if they are a Rider Member. The ONLY people that can be mounted on a horse at the training ground are "Rider members" and those who have pre-purchased a "Day Pass".

Even if they are just warming up my horse, Doing a pre-purchase ride, Schooling my horse, Just hacking, really I won't jump or use an arena, the answer is NO

"Rider members" and those who have pre-purchased a "Day Pass" are the ONLY people allowed to be mounted in the training ground.
